Who we are and what we’re looking for
We are pioneering organoid research at the intersection of 3D cell culture technology and data-driven science. We are looking for a driven Operations Manager to lead project coordination and ensure our platform development stays on track, on budget, and aligned with our scientific vision.
What your role will be
- Lead project coordination for OrganCore platform development
- Track work packages and milestones across biology, hardware, software, QA, and pilots
- Maintain the integrated milestone plan (deliverables, dependencies, timelines)
- Facilitate communication between R&D, engineering, and stakeholders
- Prepare monthly status summaries for management and investors
- Organize design reviews and project gates
- Maintain risk registers and track cross-work-package dependencies
- Coordinate resource allocation and budget management
- Maintain Notion project management tool
- Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors
- Coordinate recruiting processes including role scoping, candidate screening, and onboarding
- Manage relationships with external recruiters, contractors, and service providers
- Build and maintain internal processes and SOPs as the team scales
- Support organizational planning and headcount tracking in alignment with the CEO
What you bring to the table
- 5+ years experience in project coordination/management or product development, or comparable experience in a fast-growing biotech/deep-tech environment
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
- Budget tracking and basic financial reporting
- Ability to review and coordinate contracts with external legal and tax advisors
- Proficiency with digital project management tools (e.g. Notion)
- Comfort with recruiting coordination – drafting job profiles, managing candidate pipelines, and supporting onboarding
- Discretion in handling confidential personnel and organizational information
- Fluent English at C1/C2 level (written and spoken)
- Awareness of regulatory environments (GMP, ISO) is a plus
- High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to operate autonomously in an early-stage environment
- Comfortable operating as a generalist in an early-stage environment – able to both define processes and execute them directly
- MSc or PhD in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field
